Located at 9384 Bellaire Blvd, Houston, TX 77036, Six Ping Teamenjoin operates as a taiwanese restaurant serving Houston in Texas. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Houston; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in Texas are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.

Houston is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Houston follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

This place was amazing. Iβd never had Taiwanese breakfast before, and wanted to try it. They had a lot to choose from, and me and my friends tried a bunch of stuff. Everything was AMAZING, both the flavors and the presentation were nice. The place was the perfect size, busy but not overwhelming. Not to mention the waiters and waitresses! Everyone was SO kind and attentive! Itβs too bad Iβm not from Houston, otherwise, Iβd be here all the time. You definitely have to come here if you get the chance!

Welcome to the iconic Six Ping, a beloved Taiwanese bakery that has delighted Houstonians with its Taiwanese-style cakes and pastries for decades! Now, the bustling original location in Chinatown has expanded its menu to include delightful Taiwanese-style breakfast and street foods. Perusing the menu is like stepping back in time, evoking sweet childhood memories of enjoying steaming bowels of hot peanut rice milk, pancake with fried eggs, tea eggs, and delectable rice balls for breakfast. Each bite is a comforting taste of homeβso simple, yet so authentically delicious. The friendly and efficient staff making my family feel warmly welcomed. It's exciting to know that a treasure trove of my favorite childhood foods and drinks is just a short drive away. Treat yourself to a culinary journey at Six Ping, where the flavors of Taiwan come alive right in the heart of Houston!

we went here just to get some taiwanese breakfast meals. restaurant has a really homey vibe, food was tasty! we loved the seasoning on the ζιͺ¨, it really felt like we were back in taiwan at the street vendors. the εΈθ±θ±was also tasty, soft and milky, with just the right amount of seasoning.

The reason why itβs a 3 and not a 2 is because the soy milk was so dang good. I got like 5 of those and it was amazing. The rice was sadly hard and very chewy like mochi. I remember having authentic Taiwanese rice rolls and the rice was soft and not like gum. Overall food is good but DONT GET THE RICE ROLLS β doughnut and soy milk all the way

This is ultimate comfort food. Iβm Taiwanese-American and live in Austin, Iβve only ever been to one other restaurant in the US that serves food like this. This tasted exactly like my childhood. We came back here two days in a row it was that good, service was so friendly and welcoming too. The savory rice roll is a must, the hot soybean milk and tea eggs are amazing. Only thing I wouldnβt get again is the scallion pancake with fried dough, it was a little heavy. Would definitely still get them as individual menu items separately, they were great otherwise. Actively planning my next trip back to stock up on the rice rolls.
